Does the terminal ask or demand to present the vaccination card in the city of Banos de Agua Santa? | Geotours | Adventure Travel Tour Agency in Baños Ecuador since 1991
The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) established the obligation to be vaccinated against COVID-19. In a meeting held by the national COE, the compulsory nature of the certificate or vaccination card with the complete schedule (two doses) in people over 12 years of age was resolved. This will be put into practice in public places (shopping malls, movie theaters, restaurants, etc.), in addition to strict compliance with the biosecurity measures already in place.
The National Emergency Operations Committee (COE) approved the protocol for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 in public transport units, prepared by the National Transit Agency. All passengers over 12 years of age must carry their vaccination card or certificate and their identity card to buy a ticket to travel on inter and intra-provincial buses.
In the event that passengers do not carry the vaccination card, it is the obligation of the transport operators to verify with the citizen's identity card number if they are included in the database of immunized persons by the Ministry of Public Health for ecuadorians only.
