After our meeting point, we will proceed to start the adventure to Lago Agrío and later to the Puerto del Río Cuyabeno (Entrance to the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve.
We will begin our exploration in the Amazon jungle of Ecuador in a canoe tour for approximately 2 and a half hours. On the canoe ride, you can listen to the sounds of wildlife, while enjoying the scenery along the waters of the Cuyabeno River.
During this journey, our guide will provide information on how animals and plants interact within the Cuyabeno ecosystem.
The first day concludes with a night walk through the jungle, dinner, and an explanatory talk with our naturalist guides interpreting what refers to the animals and the environment of our unique ecosystem in the jungle.
Wake up to the sounds of the Amazon. Birds flying and singing over our bungalows, aboriginal frogs croaking and the sound of the wind gently flowing from the trees.
Our exploration begins after breakfast, where we will walk upriver along the banks of the Cuyabeno River.
We will take a walk in the primary jungle, after this walk, a delicious lunch will be served and we will take a rest in the hammocks of our lodge.
We will take a walk to the Laguna Grande de Cuyabeno where we can enjoy the surrounding landscape and take a bath in the Laguna Grande.
Once you have enjoyed one of the most spectacular sunsets in the Amazon.
The best is yet to come, with an exciting night canoe tour on the River and a close look at the legendary black alligators of the Amazon.
The mysterious sounds that you hear during the night will attract your senses and leave memories that you will never forget.
A very early canoe ride to enjoy the sunrise allows us to see the glorious birds of the Amazon at their most active time of the day.
The colors sounds and looks in the morning are really a lot of fun to impress.
After Breakfast, we will take our things to say goodbye to the Cuyabeno in a canoe trip back to the port of the Cuyabeno River.
Upon arriving at the Rio Cuyabeno port, we will continue by bus back to the city of Lago Agrio. (End of our services)
