Rafting
Rafting in Baños and Ecuador- Ecuador's rivers and volcanoes spread west from the Andes Mountains to the coast and east to the Amazon where they forge innumerable sites for adventure sports such as rafting. Ecuador offers one of the most varied collections of rivers in the world which makes it the perfect place for both novices and expert rafters.
At GEOTOURS, rafting is practiced according to international safety standards and all of our guides are certified by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Tourism.
Before going out on the river all participants are given life jackets, helmets, paddles, and an instructional safety talk from the rafting guide to review the different rowing commands that are necessary to navigate the river. Once the raft is in the water, you will be able to enjoy not only the action in the rapids, but also the varied landscape of the surrounding mountains and tropical rainforest along the river.
