LLANGANATES – SANGAY ECOLOGICAL CORRIDOR

The Llanganates - Sangay Ecological Corridor, is an area of predominantly natural wooded vegetation, which was declared in 2002 by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) as a "gift to the Earth". It is located in the provinces of Tungurahua, Pastaza and Morona Santiago, specifically in the Baños, Mera and Palora cantons, respectively, covering an area of 41,517 ha.
