HOW TO GET
To get to this viewpoint on foot from the land terminal of Baños de Agua Santa, you should go in the direction of Puyo, along Amazonas street. About 4km away you will find the Jardines Chamana inn and then turn off to the Runtún road until you find the path that leads to the viewpoint. It's easy to reach for tourists since there is very clear signage so that they can be guided without any problem.
When we arrive at Baños de Agua Santa we locate the land terminal, then in front there is a place where surgar canes are sold, behind this there is a bridge, its name is "San Francisco". When passing that bridge take the detour to the left and through this you will reach the Ojos de Volcán sector. From this viewpoint we can see the majestic Tungurahua volcano.
From the land terminal, walk along Oscar Efrén Reyes street until you reach Montalvo street. Continue on this for two blocks and turn right, continuing until you reach Juan León Mera street. To get to the viewpoint you must climb several steps for about 20 to 25 minutes, from where you can see the majesty of nature.
A viewpoint is much more than a place chosen to observe the landscape, therefore, it is impressive to be enchanted by Baños de Agua Santa, observing it from above, especially because the viewpoints have been strategic points to have an encounter with nature, and with this, it becomes a direct experience with the environment.
